Sūrya Namaskār is a tantric practice that combines 12 Yoga postures with rhythemic breathing & mantra. 
Sūrya Namaskār builds strength, increases flexibilty, enhances mobilty & promotes deep abdominal breathing amongst many more benefits.  
Once the asanas & correct breathing are mastered an individual may then apply mantra, along with the 12-postures, to obtain the greatest benefit from the practice.
