Vedanta (वेदान्त) - The culmination of knowledge from ancient India

To realise yoga’s inherent benefit and ultimate goal of Self-realisation, having a fit and healthy body is only part of the battle.

The first proponents of yoga living in the snow-capped Himalayan mountains needed a way to survive the extreme conditions of life that they had to endure, both physically and mentally.
Similarly, for a person’s practice of yoga to be complete nowadays in the modern Western world, we also need to understand and live in accordance with the precepts of Eastern philosophy that underpin yoga’s varied methods and practices.

In doing so, a person’s long-standing conditioning and misapprehensions are steadily removed from the mind, allowing them to navigate a surer path through life with greater ease, understanding and happiness.

The first and last Self-help you will ever need

At Anukala Yoga Community we provide instruction and guidance through videos and written articles covering a wide range of topics on both Vedantic and Yogic philosophy to enhance a person’s personal practice.

This enables them to progress towards the deeper stages of meditation and achieve mastery of the mind, or for those who simply hold an interest in understanding the deeper philosophy behind the inner-workings of Yoga, developing what we like to call: ‘Ethical Perfection Through Perfect Cultivation’.
